When the phone gets too hot, it slows down. In some cases, it may turn off automatically until it cools down. You don’t want to miss an important call, do you?

Why is your phone overheating?
Before proceeding, it is worth taking the time to examine what is hot and what is not. Your phone should not be hot under normal use. If so, you have a problem.
However, don’t interpret warmth as hot. It’s normal to feel a little warm after playing a game for 15 minutes. But if your phone displays a high temperature alert, or you find that the device is suddenly hot when you touch it, you should check it out.

Leaving the phone in direct sunlight is a common problem. Your phone would almost certainly get very hot if it was mounted on a car dashboard on a sunny day, for example. In such a scenario, use your car’s air conditioning system to help cool the phone.
In other scenarios, keep the phone out of sight and out of direct sunlight. If you really need to use it, try to keep the phone in the shade. When you’re done, prevent your phone from overheating by storing it in a cool place.
Slow phone and overheating? Check for malware
Malware on your Android device may cause it to overheat after all, malware developers don’t care about the health of your device; They only want your data.

Do Wi-Fi and Bluetooth make your phone overheat?

Android battery settings let you decide which apps are consuming resources ( Settings > Battery > Apps that consume ). The Adaptive Battery tool can be used to limit apps that are not used often.

- Toggle background data to disable internet access

Cool it down: How to fix an overheating phone and keep it working
Is your phone overheating and sluggish — or worse, shutting down? If so, try the following steps to cool down your phone again:
- Remove the phone cover
- Turn on Airplane mode to disable all connections
- Move it out of direct sunlight
- Point the fan at your phone (but don’t put it in the fridge, freezer, or cooler)
- Reduce screen brightness
Once you do that, try the following to avoid further overheating:
- Use battery saver mode
- Clean your phone to remove unwanted files and malware
- Reduce camera use
- Cut down on Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS when not needed
- Replace the charging cable or battery, or consider making repairs
Not only should your phone stop overheating again, your battery should last longer! In addition to overheating, there are plenty of apps that you can use to check if your Android device is working properly.
